Biomutant is a totally new open-world action-adventure title from the creators of THQ. The game was built using the Unity engine. It features a unique open-world story where you play as a mutagenic raccoon who becomes a saviour in a post-apocalyptic world. The game will also feature a multiplayer co-op, a crafting system, and other new ideas to make this game unique.

If you're into action RPGs, chances are you've heard of Biomutant.  It was developed by the Swedish developer experiment 101 and is published by the THQ Nordic. The game was already released last May 25, 2021, available on Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Biomutant Gameplay

The biomutant was set as an action role-playing game in an open world environment and is being played from a third-person perspective. The player has control of the mammalian warrior against the mutated animals. The player must first customize their character from its length, body shape, fur, fangs, thickness, and more to start the game. If you have a thicker character, it will be heavier and slower to move but are equally allows resisting damage.

Its combat system is combined with melee attacks and has long-range shooting attacks. The player must collect parts throughout the game and use them to create a new weapon.  Each part that was collected and combined has its own effect on the statistics of its end product.

• Electrical and cryogenic

These features are effective in battles. The cryogenic part was put unto the weapon and freeze the enemies when being hit.

• Combined weapon

The player has the chance to combine the power through its multiple weapons. It can be domed through switching between the different weapons during combat.

• Dodging from right to left, backward, and jump, players can do it. You can also level up your character and use the level-up points to strengthen the attributes or even unlock a new attack feature.

• You can learn new moves through interacting with the other characters in the area. But most of the moves are based on the weapons, which can also be crafted through the game’s weapon crafting system.

Change of abilities is also possible for players when in-game. You can also change looks through mutations. Upgrades for your robotic companion are also available, which you can use to have a great advantage against enemies in certain areas. A player can go to specific areas once they gain equipment suited to use in that location.

Playing a video game is a great way to spend some of your free time. But there's always something more to be done with the game you like so much. Mixing genres and throwing in a few elements of the post-apocalyptic genre, Biomutant is a rollicking action-role-playing game that lets you become a demanding lupine mutant and experience life through the eyes of a raccoon.
