Some films have just been famous momentarily, but they did not leave any mark on the moviegoers, and it just wanes and being forgotten. However, certain extraordinary movies leave a mark and made an imprint on the hearts of the viewers. These may already be considered “classic films,” but it is still being watched repeatedly. These films are timeless masterpieces.

I have my pick for the five best movies of all time. Let us have a cinematic view of those five best films;

Forrest Gump

One of the best films that were being starred by Tom Hanks was “Forrest Gump” it is a film that has the innocence of the world of Forrest. Forrest Gump is a man with a mental disability who has a positive view of life that makes him amassed wealth and professionally successful.  

Though his career fortune may not be the result of a tedious effort, it is just like it was being given to him by some divine providence.

True to the famous quote of the movie, "Mama said that life is a box of chocolates you do not know what you gonna get.” Surely everything is just a matter of chance and a stroke of luck.

Schindler’s List

“Whoever saves one life saves the world entire” was the quotation that was being engraved in the ring that was being bestowed to Schindler for his heroic act of saving the lives of the Jews.

It is being produced and directed by Steven Spielberg and was being set during the World War II holocaust. It may be a fictional film, but it drew a lot of sympathy and love towards a fellow human being regardless of cultural identity. It is being hailed as the best film of all time.

The Shawshank Redemption

At first, I thought it was one of the boring films considering that it was set in a maximum-security penitentiary, and boring films can easily make me doze off. Still, when the story progresses, s I cannot help but be glued to the screen and eager to finish the film.

It was a beautiful film with fewer action stunts or humorous lines, but the story itself makes it interesting, especially the twist and unexpected ending of the story. This film starred Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins. However, it may depict the harsh reality of prison life in Shawshank prison. But the main character Andy Dufresne was not being broken by his present circumstance but make use of it to make his redemption.

The Godfather

It is the story of the rule of the Mafia and being controlled by the Corleone family. The mafia was notoriously known to have control over all the business activities in the cities, and its influence may have penetrated the Vatican. It showcases the power and influence of the Mafia.

It was being starred Al Pacino and Marlon Brandon. This timeless masterpiece was being directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

It has a cinematic effect that leaves the moviegoers breathless. It is an epic fantasy film that revolves around the quest of Frodo and Sam to destroy the one ring. The ring may be the source of all the power and greediness. This film was based on the novel of J.R.R Tolkien and starred Elijah Wood.
