This TV series is more than your average period drama. You may be wondering why? That’s because Bridgerton is sexy, scandalous, and filled with secrets! You will also find a drama behind each corner, and it is full of glamorous and lavish lifestyles of high society—everything about this show is stunning and epic! 

Gorgeous costumes

The costumes you will see in this Netflix drama series are exquisite, and each character’s wardrobe is loaded with subtle details and aspects that match their societal status and personality. 

On top of that, the costume department has done a terrific job in making the ideal balance of bold modern style and historically accurate shapes, not to mention there is a sex appeal to complement the scandalous subject matter. 

Imagine what we’d like to give up just to fill our closet with some of those beautiful gowns!

Stellar acting talent 

There’s no doubt that Bridgerton features an amazing line-up of actors, including Nicola Coughlan from Derry Girls, film star Polly Walker and former Death in Paradise actor Ben Miller. 

What’s more, it stars Phoebe Dynevor, who is the daughter of Coronation Street icon Sally Dynevor. 

Diverse characters

If the storyline does not impress you that much, then the characters will. As mentioned earlier, the cast is extremely diverse and proves that diversity work in the period drama, and we hope that paves the way for similar shows.

We couldn’t express much how we love these characters. Don’t ask us who our favorite is because we can’t! All of them are different but interact effortlessly.

On top of that, there is also the mysterious Lady Wistledown, whose words can impact a character’s place in society in just a second. Just like Eloise, you will spend the whole series trying to understand who that cryptic writer is but not think about all that will be told.

Unbelievable soundtrack 

When we talk about music, Bridgerton has a killer one. Strangely, it features instrumental versions of many modern pop songs that you are definitely familiar with. 

Among the tracks are Ariana Grande’s thank u, next, and bad guy by Billie Eilish. You can also hear Taylor Swift’s Wildest Dreams and Shawn Mendes’ In My Blood. 

Intriguing relationships 

The show’s main focus is the growing relationship between Simon and Daphne. However, that is not the only relationship you get to witness in this show. Bridgerton also concentrates on the value of family, with the family dynamics between Bridgerton. You will also find a witty command to be made or a teasing remark at the ready. 

It’s great for binge-watching

 As we have mentioned earlier, we are on our third re-watch of this Netflix series, and we are pretty sure we’re not the only people who couldn’t resist a fourth or fifth viewing. This show is extremely addicting, and you won’t stop watching after the events of the first episode.
