Watching cartoons is a fun thing to do, and compared to adult TV shows and movies, these are way compatible for the children. However, even adults like me also watch old cartoons, especially if these became our childhood favorite. It is hard not to watch the cartoon series that taught us lots of moral and life lessons that we use up to now.

Cartoons are pure products of imagination; thus, it isn’t real. The characters, places, and events that shape the cartoon series are the only animation. But these animations brought a lot of good things into our lives. Here, we laughed, cried, felt scared, lonely, and a lot more as we connect the characters into our personalities. But aside from these, there are other reasons why a lot of us fell into the charm of the old cartoon series.

Watching old cartoon series do not bring only enjoyment and happiness, but also humor that makes us laugh hard. These are considered virtuous sources of humor that each one of us can benefit from. Also, it works as a medicine, especially to loneliness and gloom feeling. Some of the most humorous old cartoon series that are still viewed nowadays are Perry the Platypus and Tom and Jerry.

Adults, including me, who love to watch old cartoon series, can easily find creative ways when dealing with management skills, as well as daily finance. Cartoons give us updates about the right opportunities and leading brands that we can make an interaction with. We are provided with comparisons such as in products that we are going to buy for us to assess whether it is worthy or not. Cartoons simply give us endless knowledge, be it a social message, innovation, or technicality.

Next, cartoons are a great booster or enhancer of creativity. Anything that comes into our minds is the products of our imagination and creativity after watching several old cartoon series. One example is Doraemon. Here, we were taught about the cool gadgets that he uses to deal with daily living. We were exposed to potential innovations that might bring huge contributions shortly, just like the cap he used to travel. No one may believe yet there is a possibility that this can be used to aid the unresolvable traffic we have today. This can also help to reach different destinations easily and quickly. There will also be a cut in need of diesel that destroys not only our environment but also our future. 

Unlimited Life Lessons

Another reason is that the old cartoons gave unlimited life lessons. Apart from humor, it also taught us different values and moral acts that we all need to uphold. Some of these are creative, brave, independent, cheerful, hopeful, and so many more. It also taught us how to be a good leader and a good follower. All of these shaped how and what we are now. Without the moral values from our favorite childhood cartoons, we aren’t going to be who exactly we are now. 

Personality Development

As a child, we all used to relate ourselves to the cartoon characters we watch. This led us to have personality development by applying the learned traits and reflect them to ourselves. Changes in behavior and characters were only improvements we used to have after watching our favorite old cartoon series. Here, we can provide distinctions between good and bad, and it also kept us informed about different fields of entertainment and education.
